A 7-week-long project involving ideation, patterning, and iteration of an original tote bag design. My concept was a sturdy and adaptable bag fit for travelling and carrying essentials. This bag features a detachable front pouch and an adjustable crossbody strap that can be attached and worn as a fanny pack if the wearer chooses.
3/4, front and back views as well as an alternate form of wearing/carrying of the final tote bag iteration.
Tote bag in use, with detachable strap attached to the bag's pouch and worn separately.
Illustrator flats of the bag from front, back, 3/4, and bottom view.
Ideation sketches, cardboard model, and bill of materials.
First iteration for troubleshooting and feasibility testing.
